Jurl: Dragon Edition
A downloadable game

It's Jurl, the Asteroids meets Pacman game where you have to collect all the space diamonds whilst avoiding the various aliens.
Controls are simple, O and P to spin your ship and Q to apply thrust.
Known Issues
- It's pretty awful, probably don't play it if you are heavily affected by flashing images. I need to rewrite the display code in assembler and implement a double-buffering system.
- No sound or music
- You can only use the default keys (OP and Q)
- Slowdown is very noticable
But ...
The game *should* be fully playable

I checked out the latest demo, it is quite playable, but I'm a bit bothered by the horizontal movement in "jumps" - presumably from column to column. I guess this makes it more difficult to understand the ship's speed. Looking forward for the next release!
Yeah, at the moment the horizontal movement is fixed to 8 blocks, i'm working on changing that
Wow, Jurl for the Dragon - excellent. I tried the demo... still some way to go I guess (but playable already).
One question: Why going black and white? I reckon low resolution with colours would fit Jurl? Just maybe?
Oddly enough, that's what i'm experimenting with now
Looking forward! There are a couple of very nice and quite colourful modern games for the Dragon -a pity programmers back in the day seem to have overlooked that possibility.
